Salaam. Here’s
the story.

I grew up in Khartoum, learned my craft in Cairo, and now build things in Abu Dhabi. Somewhere along that road I became one of the first ten engineers at MNT-Halan, Egypt’s first fintech unicorn, where I learned that moving money is 10% code and 90% promises you have to keep.

These days my work is open-source payment systems in Go. My evenings belong to a secondhand piano and the practice app I’m building for it. And my field reports live right here: agentic AI, backend craft, and why Arabic deserves first-class technical writing.
